Alligator Cables, initially operating under the name Liu Yih, is a company founded in 1976 by President Ken Yen Wen in Taiwan. The company started with just five employees, producing brake and control cables for the bicycle, motorcycle and automotive industries. From the very beginning, the company has been guided by the principles of quality and innovation, which have contributed to its constant development over the years.

In 1994, the company moved its factory to a larger and more modern facility to meet the growing demand for its products. Along with the development, numerous modernization programs were carried out, aimed at the greatest possible automation and computerization of production processes.
